Vessel charges

Effective from January 1, 2010

GENERAL TERMS

  1. The port debits a harbour charge on any vessel entering the port area.
  2. The basis for this charge is the net tonnage of the vessel.
  3. The captain of a ship or his representative is obliged to make the appropriate notifications for calculation of the charge. Vessels shall be declared to the port immediately after arrival or departure, unless otherwise agreed.
  4. Vessels using the port as their base (trawlers, tugs, yachts etc) will be charged according to a separate rent charge for quays or water areas.
  5. Tug/barge combination is charged on the basis of the total net tonnage of the combination.
  6. Vessels arriving in the port because of distress are not debited.
  7. The harbour charge do not cover the costs for waste disposal, fresh water or electricity, which are separately confirmed.

CHARGES FOR CARGO VESSELS

A Cargo vessel or barge is charged for each unit of net tonnage € 0.41. Minimum charge is € 225.00.

CHARGES FOR TUGS, TRAWLERS ETC.

Tugs, trawlers and boats occasionally entering the port area and not loading or discharging any cargo, will be charged according to the maximum length as follows:

  • less than 15 m € 45.00
  • 15 - 30 m € 75.00
  • over 30 m € 107.00

CALLS FOR MAINTENANCE ETC.

Vessels calling at the port for maintenance or to change crew without loading or discharging cargo will be debited with 40 % of the charge according to point 1.

Minimum charge EUR 107.00.

OTHER CONDITIONS

VAT is not included in the prices. VAT is added to the prices according to the valid VAT rate, if sales are liable to taxation according to law and/or decisions made by public authorities.

Vessels arriving in the port because of distress are not debited.

MOORING AND UNMOORING CHARGES

GENERAL TERMS

  1. Mooring or unmooring shall be ordered in advance. Due to safety reasons vessels are not allowed to moor/unmoor without the port´s mooring personal's assistance.
  2. The basis for this charge is the net tonnage figure of the vessel. Charges for mooring and unmooring of a ship are collected separately.
  3. Vessels which do not give prior notice of mooring or unmooring or which moor or unmoor an hour earlier or later than the time notif ied, will be charged an enhanged price.
  4. The charge for mooring is collected based on the time, when the first rope from the vessel is moored, and the unmooring fee is debited based on the time, when the last rope is unmoored from the quay.

The charges do not include VAT, which will be added to the prices to the valid VAT rate, if the sales are liable to taxation in accordance with the valid legislation.


ENGAGEMENT OF SHIPPING COMPANY'S PERSONNEL

The port reserves the right to engage the shipping company's personnel for mooring and unmooring of vessels, if the port has an insufficient number of staff to assign for the job. If at least half of the total number of persons needed for the assignment consists of the shipping company's personnel, only 50 % of the rate mentioned in the above price list will be charged.

The aforementioned personnel is then in the employ of the shipping company and not under the supervision of the port's works management.

CHARGES FOR FRESH WATER

GENERAL TERMS

Fresh water is delivered from quay hydrants. The service time is Monday - Friday 06.00 - 22.00.

CHARGES FOR ELECTRICITY (limited availability)

  • Connection 1 x 16 ~ 3 kW, 1 x 230 V, 50 Hz EUR 10,00 / day
  • Connection max 3 x 25 A ~ 16 kW, 3 x 239 (400 V) V, 50 Hz EUR 30,00 / day
  • Connection 3 x 63 A ~ 40 kW, 3 x 230 (400 V) V, 50 Hz EUR 60,00 / day

Minimi charge one day.

The charge do not include VAT, which is added in accordance with the valid legislation.

VESSEL WASTE DISPOSAL CHARGES

GENERAL TERMS

  1. The basis for the charges is the vessel's net tonnage figure.
  2. The port has a sorting system for dry, solid waste. The categories of solid waste are as follows:
    - Energy waste (paper, cardbord, wood, plastic)
    - Metal
    - Glass
    - Landfill waste (unsorted, mixed dumping place waste)
  3. Reception of oily waste (engine room slops, oily bilge waters, sludge) and sewage is arranged by tank trucks.
  4. A vessel that intends to use the port's waste reception service must notify this to the port at least 24 hours before the vessel's arrival at the port or if the sailing time to Inkoo is less than 24 hrs, as soon as possible after sailing from the last port of call. The notification must report the type and amount of waste to be delivered, the waste volyme left onboard as well as the previous and next port of call.
  5. The waste disposal fee for solid waste, oily waste or sewage/waste water will not be charged for vessels which the Finnish Maritime Administration has released from the compulsory discharge of waste.


If a vessel which has been released from the waste disposal fee discharges waste in the port, the port has the right to transfer the waste for treatment/destruction at the expense of the vessel or shipping company. In this case the port will charge the actual costs added with 20 % harbour overhead costs.

FOOD FROM NON-EU TRAFFIC

Food waste from vessels in traffic from countries outside the EU is collected direct from the ships in accordance to pre-orders. The waste shall be packed in yellow bags for delivery to special treatment.

PROBLEM OR HAZARDOUS WASTE

Hazardous waste is collected from ships in accordance to pre-orders to the port. Problem waste is charged according to the true costs added with 20 % harbour overhead cost.

CHARGES FOR WASTE DISPOSAL

Waste disposal charge is collected per each unit of net tonnage.

  • Solid, dry waste EUR 0.04/NT
  • Minimum EUR 30.00
  • Engine room slops, oily bilge waters, sludge EUR 0.12/NT (max 12 m³, for exceeded amounts will be charged separately)
  • Sewage/waste water EUR 0.03/NT
  • Minimum EUR 30.00

The dues do not include VAT, which is added in accordance with the valid legislation.
