The port is situated about 60 km west from the Helsinki region, about 30 km south from Lohja, about 60 km SE from Salo and about 70 km NE from Hanko. The road No. 186 ends at the gate of the port (driving instructions: www.webinfo.fi).

The traffic contractors operating regularly in the port, can apply for an authomatic entry card, and thus get access to the port area. Vehicles entering temporarily can get loading / discharging permit for one time use. The security manager of the port or his vice gives the permissions.

In order to get a permission the person aiming to arrive into the port area shall phone to the number +358 (0)207 631 500 or send an application in advance either by email to the address inkooshp@inkooshipping.fi or by fax to number +358 (2)207 631 501.

Normal traffic rules and marks to be followed in the port area. The speed limit on the whole area is 30 km/h. The working places between vessels loading or discharging and quays or places between the warehouses are reserved for stevedoring work. All unnecessary traffic within these areas is prohibited.

Person traffic to the port office, customs office or canteen is possible by foot without any permission through the gate No. B1. The gate is open every working day during 07.00 - 17.00.
